Kids'  Week  -  July  2025 

Kids' Week is a special time for kids of all ages to explore, enjoy and discover with plenty of free fun on and off the snow. 

Mt Buller mascots Blake the Flake and Barry the Pygmy Possum will be out and about and love taking selfies so don't be shy!

Get ready for a week of games of Hungry Hippos on snow, live music with Woz and the Animals of the Magical Mountains show, snowman building competition, face painting and a toboggan relay race among other free and fun activities for kids. 

THE SCHEDULE

Monday – Blake the Flake Day

10AM - Snowman Making Competition: Come over to Northside Snow play at 10 AM  for a fun-filled snowman-building competition! You'll have one hour to create your most fun and unique, which will be judged by our panel of snowman experts. Prizes to be won!!

We’ll provide everything you need to dress your snowman; gloves, beanies, scarves, carrots and branches so just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

3PM - Marshmallows with Blake and Friends: Join us in the village at 3 PM to roast marshmallows over the fire with Blake the Flake! Enjoy a cozy afternoon of sweet treats and warm company.

5:30PM - Animals of the Magical Mountains: Come join Woz and his animal friends for a fun dance at Alpine Retreat starting at 5:30 PM!

Tuesday – Locky Cocky Day

2PM - Face Painting: Head to the Village Square Plaza between 2 pm and 5 pm for a fun and festive face painting!

Wednesday – Barry Possum Day

4PM - Animals of the Magical Mountains: Come join Woz and his animal friends for a fun dance in the village starting at 4 PM!

4:30PM - Musical Statues/Bobs: After the Animals of the Magical Mountains show, join us in the village for a few games of musical statues and musical bobs, starting around 4:30 pm!

5:30PM - Musical Chairs on Skis: At 5:30 pm outside of ski school, come join us for a fun twist on musical chairs; on skis/snowboards. Instead of dancing around chairs, you'll skate around large foam blocks and try to sit on one when the music stops.*

* You will need a valid b tag to participate. Please note that skis and snowboards will not be provided, so you will need to bring your own.

Thursday – Stewie Koala Day

9AM - Toboggan Relay Race (Under 10yrs): At 9:00 am, we’ll be hosting a toboggan relay race at the Village Toboggan Park for teams of six, open to children aged 10 and under.

9:30AM - Toboggan Relay Race (10-18yrs): Join us for an open relay race for anyone under the age of 18. Each competitor will slide down the run, then race back up to the top before tagging the next teammate. The first team to have all members finish the course and return to the top wins. There are fun prizes up for grabs, so don't miss out!

To enter the race, keep an eye out for the sign-up link and register your team as there are limited spaces. *You will need a valid wristband or B tag to participate 

4PM - Animals of the Magical Mountains: Come join Woz and his animal friends for a fun dance outside ski school starting at 4 PM!

Friday – Willy Wombat Day

10AM - Snowball Showdown: Hop on the car park shuttle and head down to Celia's! Join us in the snowplay area at 10 AM for some frosty fun as you test your aim by throwing snowballs at our targets. Let the snowball showdown begin! Prizes to be won!!

3PM - Marshmallows with Blake the Flake: Join us in the village at 3 PM to roast marshmallows over the fire with Blake the Flake! Enjoy a cozy afternoon of sweet treats and warm company.
