About the event

Progressive Summer Trail Opening

From Saturday 29 October the mountain bike trails will get rolling - we know there are 'brown-pow' hunters clipping in and itching to get back into the bumps and berms and we can't wait to welcome everyone onto the trails again!

CHECK THE TRAIL REPORT

From the 29 October some of the XC trails are ready including Gang Gangs, Soul Revival, Split Rock, One Tree Hill, Misty Twist, Clancy's and Medusa.  Early reports from the trail crews are these are all in mighty fine shape and will deliver super fun riding.

The Family/Village loop is not yet ready (still big piles of snow!) and some of the mega trails including the Australian Alpine Epic, Stonefly, Delatite River Trail and all the northside gravity trails will be ready for you in December.  The trail team is working right now to clear branches and trees, smooth the lines and generally get everything into A1 shape for your summer of biking. So, you've got a few more weeks to get saddle ready, bike fit and book in some accommodation - we'll see you soon!

Jump in here for the trail report and scroll down to sign up for weekly trail updates --  you'll be the first to know when your favourite trails are given the green light.

If you are sneaking up for the Melbourne Cup long weekend to be one of the fvery irst on the trails please note there is a limited food and beverage offering for that week.  Check the What's On, make sure you catch the Grocer when they are open and bring some supplies with you!

Weather update - the forecast is for persistent rain and maybe even moments of snow across the weekend so keep an eye on the conditions, check the forecast and be sure to bring some warm and waterproof gear.  There has been localised flooding in the NE Victorian region check VicRoads for any road closures or flood warnings.
