Winter Night Markets

The Village Square is coming alive for two afternoon of wintry treats, local flavour and a festive alpine atmosphere. Experience a taste of the European Alps as you wander between stalls, eat and drink you way through the market and settle in for an evening of entertainment, fire shows and a very special Olympic welcome home. 

There is something for the whole crew, whether that means champagne and cocktails for the grown ups, tasty alpine bites, local brews or entertainment for the kids. Drop by in between laps or kick off your boots and settle in as the afternoon rolls in a lively night in the village. With Twilight Sessions on Bourke Street until 8pm on Saturday, there is even more reason to stay long and enjoy the mountain after dark.

TIME: 3:00pm - 8:00pm (Saturday) or 7:00pm (Sunday)

LOCATION: Mt Buller Village Square

Eat and drink your way through the afternoon with a line up of Mt Buller favourites and visiting producers. Koflers will be serving hearty goulash and pretzels, Ewey will be roasting chestnuts, and Harry Burns will be shaking cocktails and keeping the champagne flowing. You can also grab a brew from Swift Creek or Wolf of the Willows. The firepits will be glowing and keeping everyone warm as you meander the stalls. 

Local favourites including Cattleman's, Duck Inn and the Mt Buller CFA will be also joining the market, so drop in, say hello and enjoy a taste of the mountain community.

Gather at the bottom of the Mt Buller Village stairs and watch the flames glow against the winter sky.

6:30pm WELCOME HOME JAKARA ANTHONY  

Help us welcome home dual Olympic gold medalist Jakara Anthony. Hear from Jakara as she shares stories from her journey at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and celebrate an incredible achievement with the Mt Buller community.

6:40pm JOIN THE GRIMUS ZIG ZAGGER TOAST 

Get ready to be transported to Austria as special guest Anton Grimus leads the crowd in a lively toast to good times, mountain spirit and plenty of noise. Raise your glass and join in, everyone is welcome.

6:45pm FIREWORKS 

Stick around as fireworks light up the sky above the Village Square and finish the evening with a bang

Live in Mansfield? Swing by Mt Buller after 4:30pm for FREE and join in on the fun. Simply show your drivers license at the Mirimbah entry gate and drive up.
