Encouraging talented shooters to submit works that showcase and celebrate mountain adventures and mountain life, both competitions offer those with skills behind the camera an opportunity to share their works with a wide audience and go in the running for great prizes.
Open to photographers of all levels of experience, from enthusiastic amateurs to savvy professionals, Peak Pics consists of five categories comprising People, Landscape, Action, Light and people’s Choice, under the theme “Right Place, Right Time”. The judging committee, headed by renowned Mt Buller photographer Mark Ashkanasy, will select the finalists and winners, to be announced on Saturday, 16 September 2017. The winning entries will be framed, and the collection form part of Mt Buller’s permanent art display.
