The resort clicked back into 'snow' mode this weekend with unseasonal amounts of snow piling up as the calendar flipped over into November.
The flakes started back on Friday and although there was a brief sunny Sunday for the mountain bikers and walkers to do their thing, the cold snap on Monday night sent the mountain swiftly back into winter with steady snow falling from the early hours and continuing all day on Melbourne Cup day. The resort is currently sitting under a deep blanket of snow and it feels more like August than November!

Cold conditions are expected to stick around for much of this week so visitors keen to get a taste of snow in November have plenty of snowballs waiting for them!
The road is open and clear. Please drive carefully and to the conditions. The Kooroora is OPEN for meals and warming coffees!
The resort is busy preparing for 'green season' and looking forward to when the snow does melt away making way for a summer of exciting events and activities. Check the calendar and join us for some sunshine, walks, rides and lunching - soon!
