Mt Buller is closing out the 2025 snow season in style this Sunday 5 October, inviting guests to ski and snowboard for FREE with a donation to Mt Buller Ski Patrol as they mark an incredible 75 years of service.
After a fresh snowfall this week, the mountain is set for a bluebird finale on day 121 of the season with sunshine and a balmy 12 degrees. It’s a rare treat to have such perfect spring conditions line up with closing weekend, making it the ideal time to travel up, celebrate and be part of the send-off.
“Sunday’s on us – and we’re asking guests to pay it forward to the people who keep us safe,” said Noel Landry, General Manager, Buller Ski Lifts. “Our Ski Patrol has looked after this mountain for 75 years, and this is a simple way to say thanks. Come up for a final spring slide, make a donation, and help us send the season out on a high.”
It’s the perfect chance to squeeze in a few last laps, soak up the spring sunshine, and join the club of skiers and riders who can say they hit Mt Buller in October. Free skiing makes the invitation even sweeter, giving everyone the chance to celebrate the season’s big milestone together.
How it Works
Load a complimentary Sunday 5 October lift access onto your B-Tag via the website, then make your donation at www.mtbullerskipatrol.com.au/donate or via QR codes at the ticket office. If you require a new B-Tag they can be purchased online for $5 at collected at a B-Tag collection point (keep it for future visits).
What’s Included
Complimentary lift access for Sunday 5 October only, including sightseeing lift access. Morning resort entry/parking, rentals and lessons are not included. Lifts and terrain are subject to weather and operations as on any day. Resort entry is free after 12pm on Sunday. Car park shuttles will run until 6pm.
Already bought a Sunday day ticket?
We'll look after you - guests who pre-purchased for Sun 5 Oct can opt for a refund or convert their purchase to a Ski Patrol donation at the ticket office.
Looking Ahead
Mt Buller will welcome skiers back in June 2026. Early Bird Season Memberships are on sale now until 31 October 2025, with Ikon Pass add-on options to over 60 resorts worldwide.
