Wild West Adventure Race gets cracking!

Giddy up people - Mt Buller's Wild West Adventure Race, now includes cash prizes!

Mt Buller will again host the exhilarating Winter Adventure Race event on Saturday 15 September, this year with a Wild West theme!

Grab your pardner partner and get ready to head 'em, and move 'em out navigate across the mountain as you find your way to ten different checkpoints across the Mt Buller snow fields and Village. Greenhorns and tenderfoots new visitors are welcome - no previous mountain knowledge required! 

If you find the fastest route across the mountain pases ski area and village, you'll collect $1000 cash 1st prize! The fastest Junior Team will win $200 cash. Plenty of spot prizes also to be won, including a "Best Dressed" prize of $200 to the team dressed in the best Wild West costume.

The course can be completed on horseback or wagon skis or snowboards, however, there may be some checkpoints that you will NOT be able to ski or board to! The course should take most teams approximatley two hours to complete, and all competitors MUST have a valid lift ticket.

Represent your Ski Club or Lodge to take home the Lodge Champions trophy.

Entry is only $20 per Open Team of two and only $10 for a Junior Team (ages 14yo to 17yo) entry. If a junior entry wishes to compete with an adult then simply enter the Open division. There is no male/female division for this event, and mixed teams are most welcome.
