BullerRoo Luxury Farmstay is in an ideal location, less than 15 minutes to Mansfield township and only 25 minutes to the entrance of Mt Buller and the Victorian snowfields. During the winter months if you let us know what time you will be arriving, we can make sure the fire is lit, the lights are on and your accommodation is lovely and warm for your arrival.
A perfect stay for families or small groups of up to six people this beautiful hideaway features breathtaking views, stunning sunsets and starry nights on 24 acres of private country setting, all within 15 minutes of Mansfield. There's plenty to do or just sit back, relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery and quietness of the countryside.
The variety of animals that live on the farm are a real hit with our guests. Hand-feeding is the best way to get to know them, especially the alpacas and Pygmy goats. As a Pygmy goat stud farm we also have baby Pygmy goats who love cuddles!!!
Also nearby is the awe-inspiring Prosecco Road to the King Valley wineries-within half an hour you are at Powers Lookout which really is a sight to behold. There is also a short nature walk at the site of the lookout which guides you around boulders through well-maintained paths.
The Farmstay itself has two very different offerings, the brand new seriously luxe chalet-style apartment and the charming colonial-style stone cottage. Both complementing the existing landscape and both perfect for families or small groups to re-connect and enjoy stunning regional experiences.
Option one is the beautiful BullerRoo Chalet, a quality ski chalet in the heart of Victoria’s High Country with a dedicated ski clothes drying room, sleeping up to five people. Children under the age of 6 years old by request only. Close to Mt Buller ski-fields and Delatite and King Valley wineries as well as the SwiftCrest distillery and Jamieson Brewery.
Designed by award winning architect Darren Cole-Sinclair of DCS Design, this luxury ski chalet features top quality interiors inspired by a modern industrial ski lodge, you will be blown away by the extensive views and comfortable interiors including French Cheminees Philippe designer fireplace for those cosy nights.
Offering a high-end well equipped kitchen featuring Miele induction cooking, Caesarstone bench-tops, comfortable living area and two spacious bedrooms. The stylish master bedroom boasts a king bed whilst the second bedroom offers a queen bed. There is an extra loft bed (on request only and incurs a $60 per night surcharge).
Option two, Stone Creek Cottage is the quaint hand-built charming, private colonial-style stone cottage featuring established gardens provides the comfort of home with all the essentials you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway, perfect for families and small groups, close to snowfields and wineries.
Fully self-contained with 3-bedrooms, offering 2 queen beds and 2 singles, fireplace and air-con. Discover this real hidden gem at the gateway to Victoria's High Country!
