On average, late August to early September is when Mt Buller reports the deepest snow cover on the majority of runs. This period does fall partly within peak season, so it's best to plan ahead and book early.
Mt Buller's Snow Guarantee gives you the confidence to book your snow holiday. It's a money-back guarantee on all prepaid participating accommodation, lift ticket, rental, lesson packages, toboggans park entries, and applies if there is insufficient snow cover.
For the best value, visit early and late in the season when there are special offers and savings like Kids Stay Free (under age 15).
Conditions vary season to season, and weather changes quickly on the mountain at anytime of the year. Keep an eye on the snow reports so you are ready for the conditions.
Spring at Mt Buller can deliver good skiing and boarding with late season discounts to sweeten the experience! It's often lovely weather with longer days, more sunshine and mild temperatures, perfect for First Timer's and young kids.

- Dogs are not allowed at Mt Buller without a permit. Assistance animals require formal documentation. Dog permits are only available for residents. Visit the ARV website to apply. Cats are not allowed at any time.

Resort Entry & Parking is required for cars entering Mt Buller and Mt Stirling during the snow season. Single day parking and overnight parking options are available here.
Pre-book online to skip the line at Mirimbah gate - simply print your permit before you leave home so you can drive straight on up!
Don't forget you'll need to carry wheel chains to enter the resort during the declared snow season.
- Check-in times generally range between 3pm -4pm mountain wide, however this does vary depending on the property. If you are unsure of your check-in time, check your itinerary confirmation or call the accommodation provider directly with whom you have booked

In June and September, up to 2 kids (under the age of 15) can stay free of charge when accompanied by two sharing adults at participating accommodation providers.

At Mt Buller the majority of properties have a minimum 2-night stay. Generally, Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together.

- Please contact the property directly on the day of arrival to see if they can facilitate an earlier check-in for you. Generally, earlier check-ins are not possible on weekends or during Victorian school holidays.
- Buller Holidays are more than happy to facilitate date changes within the current season for a nominal fee. Please see Terms and Conditions for more detail.
- Many Hotels and Lodges at Buller will consider an adult to be 15yo and older. This age does vary, so if you are unsure please reach out to the Buller Holidays team today, or contact the accommodation provider directly.

Many hotels and lodges at Mt Buller offer luggage storage prior to check-in, or after check-out to allow you to maximise your time in the resort or on the slopes.
The majority of self-contained apartments generally do not allow luggage storage.

Car access to Mt Buller Village is restricted during the Winter Season, all overnight visitors are required to park in the overnight car parks and take a Rideshare Taxi, or private transfer to your accommodation.
During the summer months, access to the Mt Buller Village is not restricted, so you are able to park at your accommodation.
