JULY UPDATE
9 July 2026: What a difference a week can make in the mountains! As the calendar flipped over into July more snow arrived and the Mt Buller snowmaking team has been working overtime to build on the cover and get more runs open.
Today Family Run and Howqua Chairlift were added to the menu for school holiday visitors who made the most of the longer runs and sweeping views across the Howqua Valley.
So, what’s next?
SNOW
We’ll continue to make more whenever the conditions allow. The snowmaking team have been working miracles, even managing to make snow over 4 degrees thanks to low humidity. The forecast is also looking good for incoming snow this weekend – keep an eye on the cams and start making plans!
MORE TERRAIN
This week saw Skyline and Family run open, and we’re already eyeing more terrain to add to the mix when the conditions permit.
TWILIGHT SESSIONS ARE BACK
Wednesday and Saturday nights in July and August are great for riding under lights on Bourke Street. Add 3.5 hours to your ski day for just $37 and join the party atmosphere on Bourke Street until 8.30pm.
PS > Mansfield locals enjoy free resort entry from 4.30pm so it’s a great value night out!
Extended hours on Bourke Street these school holidays have been fun. The schedule is changing this weekend. Here’s the plan for the coming days:
- Thurs 9 July – ski until 7pm included in a day ticket
- Fri 10 July – ski until 7pm included in a day ticket
- Sat 11 July – ski until 8.30pm with the return of Twilight Session tickets ($37)
- Sun 12 July – Back to regular 5pm close with a snow storm expected
MORE LESSONS AT MORE LEVELS
Ski & Snowboard School lessons from Saturday 11 July are now available for up to Level 5 abilities. Level 5’s can comfortably link parallel turns on both green and blue runs – and instructors will have more terrain for more advanced kids to explore in their lessons!
VILLAGE EXPRESS – NO CHAINS, NO STRESS
