Powder hounds that are skiing in Japan should check out the Madarao Kogen Ski Resort. Madarao Mountain Resort has the perfect ingredients as a powder skiing destination. The area is renowned for average snowfalls in the realm of 10 to 13 metres per season, and there is some very good tree skiing and reasonably steep bowls. Les 3 Vallées is the world's largest interconnected ski area perched high in the Tarentaise Valley in Southeastern France.  Situated inthe heart of the Alps, in the Tarentaise valley in Southeastern France, Les 3 Vallées ski area boasts an exceptional geographic situation: From the lowest altitude runs at 1,300 metres, to the summit of Les 3 Vallées up at 3,230 metres.
