Visitors from regional Victoria (other than Ballarat) are currently welcome to visit Mt Buller on presentation of a negative COVID test taken within the previous 72 hours. Children under 12 years do not require a test.

Resort staff and residents are highly recommended to take a COVID test prior to arrival at the resorts.

If you have an existing booking and are impacted by COVID travel restrictions you can request reschedule your arrangements or request a refund under the COVID-19 Refund Policy.  Please make your request via email via your confirmation/booking correspondence.


CONTACTLESS PAYMENT IN RESORT. Most businesses, including lift pass and lesson sales are ONLY available via contactless card payment or online. Mt Buller encourages guests to plan ahead, book and pre-pay online for the best price and to ensure all elements of your visit are confirmed before you travel.

Every year the health and safety of everyone in resort is our top priority. We will operate within the Government’s regulations in response to the COVID-19 situation.

Everyone in resort is required to follow all directions for physical distancing and hygiene, our collective safety counts on it.

What is your Cancellation Policy? 

In addition to the usual cancellation policy, Buller Holidays will provide a cancellation, change of dates, or full/partial (based on the pricing of actual products for days consumed) refund or credit on unused pre-paid resort entry, accommodation, lift tickets, lesson, rental products and other unused pre-paid services and activities booked via the Mt Buller online stores if:

  • You or a family member (or travelling companion) contract coronavirus and are unable to travel on your intended dates; OR
  • Victorian Government coronavirus restrictions close Mt Buller resort; OR
  • Victorian Government coronavirus restrictions prevent you from travelling on your intended dates; OR
  • Your transport is cancelled or disrupted due to coronavirus preventing you from arriving in resort for your travel dates.
If your circumstance meets any of the criteria listed above, please contact the Mt Buller reservations team on bookings@bullerholidays.com.au to request a reservation change, or cancellation. Please insert “coronavirus application” in the subject line and include the details of your booking (itinerary ID, shopping cart number, etc) and specify the products you want changed or refunded.

Please note: The only way to make requests is via email. Due to the volume of requests after press conferences and restriction announcements, it may take some time to get a response. Thank you for your patience.
What about Season Memberships, Vehicle Permits, etc? 
This cancellation policy excludes 2021 Season Memberships, village vehicle permits and resort entry season passes. Refer to those products terms and conditions for their specific pandemic clauses.
Please note Season Membership refund requests will be assessed after the end of the declared snow season; 3 Oct - we are not processing any requests until this date at the earliest. For Season Membership and other Terms & Conditions see here
