About the event
FIS Junior SBX National Series
Snow Australia welcomes the return of a FIS JNR SBX National Series which comes to Mt Buller this Sunday 14 August.
The first stop was held at Thredbo on 31 July and a third stop is slated for Hotham at the end of August.
The Series offers a development opportunity for the next generation of snowboard cross athletes to compete in the unique race format.
Snow Australia Sport Development Coordinator Johnny Lipzker explains, "It was a fantastic result to have developing SBX athletes once again compete against each other in a four-rider heat format in Thredbo the other weekend."
"There has been a real lack of opportunity for this kind of competition over the last two seasons.
"We can’t wait to see how the athletes go at the next stop in Mt Buller.”
