Mt Buller is the home-base for Australian Sleddog Tours. The on snow activity proved to be a huge success for everyone who visited the resort.

In 2016, Mt Buller will host a sled dog demonstration race in the Mt Buller Village on two courses for the second year in a row. Held over two days the event will include 2, 3, 4 and 6 dog teams.

Program Schedule

*Course: Start/Finish between Powder Bar and T’s Café, up Bourke Street ski run to the top of the Blue Bullet Station, across to Tirol Café and return via same route.

*Course: Corn Hill Rd to Corn Hill Rd Quarry and return. Start/Finish line is approx. 800 metres along Corn Hill Rd. from Celia’s Café.

Best Spectator Locations: 

• Village Square staging area and Start/Finish line
• Bourke Street Ski Run directly outside Ski School Building
• Blue Bullet Top Station/The Arlberg Hotel/Snow Pony as teams return from Tirol and descend Bourke Street on the way to the finish line
