About the event
Snowracer Series - Giant Slalom Event 3
The Snowracer Series are an ideal opportunity for school teams or individual racers to get that edge and additional race experience on course. The events are open to primary and secondary school children in both skiing and snowboard disciplines.
Not only are these events great adrenaline-charged fun, they are also an important lead up to the Victorian Interschool Snowsports Championships.

EVENT FORMAT | 2 runs of Giant Slalom (Alpine Gates for both ALP and SNB)
EVENT LOCATION | Little Buller Spur (Snowspray Start)
SNOW ID | A Snow ID is required when registering for this event.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE | Registration closes on Saturday, 14/08/2021 by 4 PM
It is not possible to enter both ski & snowboard competitions.
Competitors are not allowed to wear race suits for this event!

BIB COLLECTION | Team captains/individuals to collect bibs from the Race & Events Department from 08.45 AM to 09.15 AM on the race day. All bibs must be returned at the end of the course or at the events office on the race day or a charge may be incurred for the replacement of the bib.
TEAM CAPTAINS' MEETING | will be held on Sunday, 15/08/2021 at 08.45 AM at the Race & Events Department.
COURSE INSPECTION | 09.45-10.00 AM for all divisions
START OF RUN 1 | Update: The event will be run as one race!
10.15 AM for all Snowboard Divisions and Alpine Divisions
Run 2: Immediately after Run 1 is completed. Competitors will start in the same order.
PRESENTATION | The presentation will be held at 3 PM at the Snow Squad meeting area (Bourke Street skiers left, next to ABOM)

RESULTS | Official results will be posted online.
NOTE | The Event Organizer reserves the right to change event format, schedule or cancel the event depending snow and weather conditions.
The Photoshop Mt. Buller is capturing the action on course. For every photo purchased from the Snowracer Series, competitors will receive a block of delicious Mount Buller Chocolate. Available at the gallery, located in the village square.
