About the event
Tom Mathias Memorial
An exciting international and domestic line up of skiers will descend on Mt Buller for this packed week of racing in honour of Tom Mathias. Skiers will be in the hunt for important FIS points and showing their skills on the skier cross and slalom courses on Skyline and Little Buller Spur so be on the lookout for some impressive racing over the week.
The competition attracts skilled skiers from around the world and locally keen to take on the Skyline skier cross course and the gates as they vy for the Tom Mathias Memorial Award.
The Award is named in honour of Tom who joined the Mt Buller Race Club in 1998 but then sadly lost a battle with melanoma at only 23 years of age.
The event is proudly supported by Last Frontier Heliskiing, the Mt Buller Race Club, Mt Buller and Ski & Snowboard Australia.
