Victorian Enduro Tour 2016

Background 

The VICTORIAN ENDURO TOUR (formerly the Victorian Gravity Enduro Series) has been re-named and re-formatted to reflect the new changes to the series; the new way it is run for the rider; and the growing trend across the world for multi stage, ride to the top style gravity racing. The 2015/2016 race series will feature only the best venues Victoria has to offer, with only the best tried and true race locations we have used before that made the best races over the last three years of the series, culminating into the best series so far, with more descending/vertical meters than any other series in Australia.

Run by Alpine Gravity, there have been big changes in the Enduro series over the past three years, from the very first one run 'All Mountain' series, to the dual run "Elevation" series, and then to the multi format "Enve Victorian Gravity Enduro Series" last season.

For 2015/2016 there will be an all ride to the top/liaison stage format with limited shuttles at some venues on the Saturday during practice, and only the best tried and true venues across the state compiled from the best venues used over the last three seasons. Overall entry prices will go down this season, but Elite Men and Woman entry prices will go up due to the huge cash purse up for grabs.

Alpine Gravity have on offer the biggest cash purse in Australian Gravity mountain biking, with over $5,000 in cash up for grabs in Elite Men and Elite Woman categories each round. Plus the new winnings on offer 1st $1000, 2nd $750, 3rd $500, 4th $250 and fifth $100 in BOTH elite classes.

Alpine Gravity also have the best timing system in the world and continue to use their pro-timing staff they hired for the final two rounds of last season, which finished at Mt Buller with flawless timing.
