Mt Buller is busy preparing for the 2016-17 summer season, in anticipation of another eventful summer ahead. And to celebrate the launch of the ‘green season’, Mt Buller is bringing the mountain to Melbourne for one big night.
The Mt Buller Summer Season Launch will kick start the events calendar, taking place on Thursday 24 November at the Rivoli Cinema, Camberwell. The Season Launch will offer guests a chance to mingle with the team from Mt Buller, and a number of key summer operators and resort partners in a casual setting, while enjoying nibbles and drinks at the rooftop bar.
A screening of mountain bike flick Not2Bad, Trail Dog from Salomon Running TV and Max Your Days from Sherpas Cinema is also on offer, building excitement ahead of the official season opening on 3 December.

Entry to the event is free and as spaces are limited, guests are encouraged to register online.
Marketing, Sales and Events Group Manager for Mt Buller Resort Management, Gillian Dobson is looking forward to a summer packed full with events and activities. “We’re looking forward to bringing a taste of Mt Buller to Melbourne! It gives us the chance to showcase our beautiful mountain and to give people the chance to get excited about what’s happening at the resort this summer.
“The warmer months at Mt Buller offers a truly unique mountain experience, with a huge calendar of events planned to suit all interests, including mountain biking, road cycling, trail running, food and wine, motor racing and much more. Join us on top of the world at Mt Buller for a cool change this summer!”
The extensive list of events continues right through until the end of April, with highlights including Targa High Country, the third Australian Mountain Bike Summit, the GT Bike Buller Festival, the Picnic in the Park food and wine festival, and the Mountain High Fun Run rounding out the summer season.
