The snow is melting away quickly in the sunshine and the mountain is steadily shifting into summer mode.
We're all overdue for some sunny days and although the Melbourne Cup blizzard was an exciting novelty it's great to see the mountain turn bright green again, the flowers starting to pop through and summer feels creeping in.
What a difference a week can make!
30+cms of snow in November, and now it feels like summer is coming
The tennis court fences are about to go up, bookings are coming in for summer weekends and the calendar is blooming with events to lure you away from the city and the beaches and up here for a cool change.
Here's a couple to get you started:
- Christmas Festival - 26 Nov sees SNOW, Santa and stalls with our popular Christmas Market on again in the village. Throw a snowball, enjoy a relaxing drink with friends in the sunshine and get a few gifts ticked off your shopping list.
- Summer Shred Sesh - grab your bike and your board for a cross-over shred sesh on 3 December with a pop-up terrain park for those still craving a snow fix and a giant airbag, pump track and trail action to knock the dust off your bike. >Find out more
