Located in the heart of the Mt Buller village, Hotel Pension Grimus is a family-owned boutique hotel offering hotel room and self‑contained apartment accommodation, renowned dining and bar venues, and on-site ski & snowboard centre. With a strong reputation for personalized service and genuine European alpine charm, we provide guests with an unforgettable mountain experience.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily cleaning operations, ensuring guest hotel rooms, apartments, and public areas are always presented to our exceptional standards. You will lead and support a team of seasonal housekeeping attendants, manage room cleaning allocations, conduct inspections, report maintenance issues as required and be responsible for the ordering and control of housekeeping supplies.

 

ABOUT YOU

•        Minimum 2–3 years in 4- or 5-star hotel or resort housekeeping experience, with supervisory experience required

•        Good communication skills 

•        Ability to establish and lead a strong, close-knit team to successfully work together and willing to assist each other

•        Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

•        Physically capable of meeting the demands of this busy role


CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Fixed-term contract for the winter ski season.
  • Weekend, public holiday and split shift availability required.
  • On-site accommodation and meals package available.
  • Role requires consistent on-site presence during peak winter periods.
  • 38–48 hours per week depending on occupancy.
  • 6‑day rotating roster with early, late, and some split shifts
  • Work conditions subject to alpine weather and operational demands.
  • Suitable for Australian residents or Working Holiday Visa holders (417/462)
