THE ROLE

We are seeking chefs of all levels to join our team for the snow season.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen where you will be required to:

• Work efficiently under pressure during peak service
• Read and manage dockets across sections
• Operate across pans, grill, and larder
• Maintain consistency and food quality at speed
• Contribute to a disciplined and team-focused kitchen

We operate under a Victorian Class 2 Food Safety Program, with strong systems and expectations in place.

This role suits chefs who thrive in a busy environment and want to maximise earnings during the season while enjoying everything Mt Buller has to offer.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Relevant cooking qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experience with Italian and/or modern Australian cuisine preferred
• Ability to work across multiple sections
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management and organisation
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting

Essential skills:

• Reading and calling dockets
• Competency across pans, grill, and larder
