We are seeking a strong, reliable and dedicated Kitchen Hand/Dishwasher to join our team at Kaptans Restaurant, Hotel Pension Grimus for the 2025 Winter season. The Kitchen Hand role is crucial to the effective operation of our kitchen!

We are seeking strong, reliable and dedicated Kitchen Hand/Dishwasher to join our team at Kaptans Restaurant, Hotel Pension Grimus for the 2025 Winter season.  The Kitchen Hand role is crucial to the effective operation of our kitchen!

KITCHENHAND DUTIES

•       Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including equipment, floors, walls, and service areas

•       Wash and sanitize pots, pans, cutlery and utensils efficiently during service

•       Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required

•       Assist in receiving, checking and correctly storing deliveries as required

•       Work split shifts aligned to service demands and rostering

•       Adapt to high-volume periods and fluctuating occupancy levels

•       Follow all food safety, hygiene and chemical handling procedures

•       Always maintain an organized and safe working environment

WHAT YOU NEED

• Excellent organizational skills
• Neat and tidy with detailed attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Good time management
• Ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
• Ability to work in a team and take instruction
• Strong communication skills
• Be available from early June to end September
• Foreign nationals must hold a valid Australian Working Holiday Visa subclass 417 or 462
