Australian  Sled  Dog  Tours 

Australian Sled Dog Tours have operated tours on Mt Buller since 2014. Join the friendly team of Siberian Huskies and their dedicated owners for a once in a lifetime adventure you’ll never forget. Tours will be operating throughout the whole season, subject to snow and weather conditions. Tours include a meet and greet with the Huskies, a photo session and sled dog tour. 

These tours are very popular and will sell out quickly. Bookings are essential so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Meeting point:

Tours depart from Corn Hill Road which is approximately 1.5km below the Mt Buller Village.  

Please note for all tours:

• Strict 88KG weight limit per person applies to safeguard both the huskies and guests
• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time
• Sledding is a "sport" and requires some physical activity during a tour. If you are hesitant about your physical ability, please ask one of our representatives when making your reservation.
• Tours are not suitable for children under 5 years of age or pregnant women. 

Times:

Mountain View Run tour

A perfect introduction to dog sledding, take in the spectacular scenery of Mt Buller with our team of Siberian Huskies. 

Duration: Approximately 1 hour including a 30 min sled ride and a meet and greet with photo opportunities.

Price: $380 per person, discounted rate of $950 for families of 4 (Max 4 people).

Harnessed Dreams tour

Enjoy the exciting and picturesque trail, relax as a passenger or have a go at driving your own team of Siberian Huskies. This tour is for the person who likes adventure and actively participating in driving the sled.

Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours including a meet and greet and photo opportunities.

Price: $540 per person. Max 2 adult per tour.

Powder Hound Adventure tour

A longer tour for the dog sledding enthusiast! Enjoy the exciting and picturesque trail of Corn Hill Road on your way to Howqua Gap Hut; stop for refreshments before the return trip to Mt Buller. Learn to handle and drive your own Siberian Husky team. Maximum 1 person per tour.

*Please note you must be fit and in good health to participate in this tour as you have to run with the team and at times run up steep mountain terrain.

Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours including a meet and greet and photo opportunities.

Price: $980 per person

Meet and Greet the Huskies

For those who just want to meet the Huskies without going on a tour, we will introduce you to the Huskies one by one, feel free to ask us questions and take photos. 

Price: $30 per person, or $60 per family, for a 45-minute session, all ages welcome. Meet and greet bookings are preferred although walk-ins are welcome. Please note that teams may be out on trail if you arrive outside session times. 

Times: 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily
