Wheel Chain Requirements
During the Declared Snow Season

They must be carried from Mirimbah entry onwards and fitted when instructed to do so.
Wheel chains can be hired at Mansfield, Merrijig, or Mirimbah. It's best to organise these in advance to ensure the right size for your vehicle is available. Wheel chains are not available for hire once on you are already on the mountain.
A small number cars cannot fit chains in accordance with the vehicle’s user manual. Please check your manufacturers guidelines before hiring chains. Alternative transport options to the resort are available.
