Bars & Restaurants
Fire safety is year round – not just for summer. During winter, accommodation fire risks are higher as fires are lit and electric blankets are turned on.
To help us make sure that we are fire ready, the CFA is running free accredited Fire Warden training sessions for lodge managers and free Advice Visits to accommodation premises.
The training is for anyone with responsibilities for emergency evacuations in accommodation premises. The Advice Visits will be done by a CFA Community Safety Officers who will help review your existing fire safety plans and offer general advice and support.
CFA Fire Safety Officers will be also be visiting properties during winter to ensure compliance with essential fire safety measures and relevant Regulations.
Please call the CFA Operations Officer Paul Scragg on 0409 124 246 for bookings or enquiries.
